Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what we need to run ufolder, and we never sell it. People who download your files don’t need accounts, so we hold no personal information about them.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
• Files you upload, their names, and folder names.
• Basic service logs, such as IP address and time of request, kept for security and troubleshooting.

What we don’t collect

• No names, emails, or accounts for people who download.
• No advertising or third-party cookies.
• No selling or renting of any data.

How long we keep it

Files stay until you delete them or close your account. Deleted files are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Service logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
